Tahbilk
Redesigning customer-facing website and internal sales system
Role: UX and UI designer

Client
Tahbilk has grown significantly over the years into more than a just winery – they now house a massive distribution and sales operation.
Business goal
The primary objective is to make things simpler, less work and more sales.
-
Consolidating online, phone, and cellar door sales into a single system.
-
Implementing real-time inventory management.
-
Streamlining processes and eliminating errors.
My role
As the sole product designer for the project, I worked closely with the Business Analyst, focusing on the internal operational process, from talking to the sales and packing teams, to designing wireframes and creating prototypes.
All interviews and workshops were conducted in-person.
Two separate systems
Caused extra admin work and errors.
Inconsistent data
Multiple spreadsheets managed by multiple people, which often lent itself to multiple errors.
No single source of truth
Customer information scattered, difficult to track feedback.
Manual processes
Printing invoices, packing forms, and mail labels was time-consuming.
Business problem
Tahbilk's old computer system struggled to keep up with the business growth, leading to problems with both orders and inventory management.
